MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) presents the Spring 2023 Community Concert Series schedule. This season’s free concerts in Tateuchi Hall will feature outstanding musical performances from the worlds of jazz, classical and modern music. The return of the incredible Kaki King, an innovative guitarist and composer.
Sun., Mar. 5, 2:00 pm - Music of the Great French Innovators
An afternoon of music by beloved French composers.
Sat., Mar. 11, 7:30 pm - Taylor Eigsti and Paul Hanson
GRAMMY-award winning jazz pianist & composer Taylor Eigsti and jazz bassoonist Paul Hanson offer an evening of jazz improvisation.
Sun., Apr. 16, 2:00 pm - Temirzhan Yerzhanov: Music Zoo
Enjoy a special afternoon family concert featuring beloved music based on fairy tales and children’s stories.

CSMA Merit Scholar Students Ensembles perform favorite selections to celebrate chamber music.

Jazz standards and original compositions.
Sat., May 20, 7:30 pm - Gaby Castro: Silicon Valley Songbird
Local folk Americana singer-songwriter brings together songs of home, healing and heart.
Sat., Jun. 10, 7:30 pm - Sarah Cahill: Five Centuries of Chaconnes
Cahill traces the life cycle of the Chaconne, a musical form originating in the Baroque period, from its origins up to the present.
Sat., Jun. 24, 7:30 pm - Dayna Stephens Quartet: Jazz in the Now
The cross-generational quartet performs a variety of textures and grooves inspired by traditional and modern sensibilities.
Seating is first come, first served. No advanced tickets are available. Face masks are strongly recommended inside Tateuchi Hall. Performances in Tateuchi Hall are suitable for ages 7 and up. To ensure the best experience for all guests, children should be able to sit quietly during the performance (approx. one hour). Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, concert details are subject to change. Please go to arts4all.org for the latest information before attending.
