News & Updates

  • The View Teen Center will be CLOSED for drop-in on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

  • Wanna be a Teen Center MVP?! Make 15 visits to The View Teen Center this summer (June 5-August 5) and receive a FREE TEEN CENTER SWAG item! Choose from a Trucker Hat, Rainbow Charging Cord or Water Bottle. Pick up a punchcard at the front desk.

  • Teen Open Gym happens every Saturday! Join us from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Whisman Sports Center. Come play basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer or just hang out with your friends! Equipment provided, or you can bring your own. Student I.D. required for entry.


Teen Volunteer Project

Wednesday, July 124:30-6 p.m.

Help a child patient cope during a difficult time! Volunteer to make cards, sew snuggle hearts and pack activity kits. Activity Kits will go to pediatric patients at El Camino Hospital.

Earn community service hours! This volunteer project is open to 6th-12th Mountain View and Los Altos teens. Pre-registration is required.

This project has been running each summer since 2021. Teen volunteers have packed and donated more than 300 kits!


Summer Outdoor Movie Night Series

Join us for an exciting Summer Outdoor Movie Night Series, Friday evenings July 7 through August 11. All movies begin at 8:30 p.m. or dark. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show.

Break out your fave fluorescent threads! Get your glow on with four neon craft projects, enjoy a lineup of neon treats and rave to upbeat music.

AfterHours is a monthly program designed to give 6th-12th grade teens a fun-filled Friday night of activities in a safe environment.

Pick a color and grab a can! Learn letter styles, graffiti drawing, and more through the use of stencils and templates. Create your very own graffiti art on a canvas using art-safe spray paint.

Are you ready to elevate your sneaker game? Join us for a one-of-a-kind workshop where you can unleash your creativity and learn how to customize your own sneakers! An experienced artist facilitator will be on hand to walk you through the process and provide guidance and tips.

Customize your bicycle in this exciting workshop! Choose from a variety of bike decals, reflector stickers, and paint to create a unique look that will make your bike the talk of the neighborhood. Decals are first come, first serve. Free bike bells, too!

There are so many cool Boba spots in downtown Mountain View. Join us on a staff-led bike ride to visit a new Boba place each month. Just meet at the start time at The View Teen Center with your bike and a helmet. Your choice of Boba is included free of charge!

Help do your part to help make our world a cleaner place to live! Join us to help clean up Pacifica Beach, and learn the benefits of making our community a healthier place. After the cleanup, enjoy lunch on the beach at the Taco Bell Cantina. This trip includes transportation and lunch.
