TEEN CENTER eNEWSLETTER - January 2023 Come hang out with us! The View Teen Center provides FREE tutoring for middle school and high school students throughout the academic school year. 📚✏️📖 Tutoring is available Monday through Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at The View Teen Center. No pre-registration is required. Tutoring is provided by the Unidos Tutoring Club and qualified volunteers. The Community School of Music and Arts offers a wide variety of FREE art classes at The View Teen Center. Projects include Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Digital Arts, Fabric & Fashion Arts, and more! FREE - SIGN UP HERE! January 18 January 18-February 22 Wednesdays 4:30-5:45 p.m. Junior Chef Stars Looking for a hands-on, tasty activity? Join Junior Chef Stars as seasoned instructors provide junior chefs with the tools necessary to create, cook, and learn. Have your junior chef expand on their cooking knowledge as our curriculum covers nutrition, seasonal cooking, knife skills, the purpose of core ingredients, and the many cultural aspects of food. FREE - SIGN UP HERE! January 19 Thursday 6-7 p.m. The View Teen Center Adulting 101: iPhone Photography This workshop will teach participants how to create better photos and videos using iPhone. Learn all about your iPhone’s in-camera options as well as several app choices, then head outside to practice your new skills.
