Mark Russo & The Classy Cats, October 22
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – The Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) in Mountain View presents a free family concert with Mark Russo & The Classy Cats on Sunday, October 22 at 2:00pm. The event will be held in Tateuchi Hall at the Community School of Music and Arts, located at 230 San Antonio Circle in Mountain View. This family-friendly concert is recommended for ages 6 and up. Seating is limited, so please arrive early. Doors open at 1:30pm.
Mark Russo & The Classy Cats present a delightful afternoon of enchanting swing music for an audience of all ages. This family-friendly concert will feature music from the 1920’s, 1930’s and 1940’s performed by a full band and jazz vocalist. The Classy Cats are led by saxophonist Mark Russo (CSMA faculty), who has toured with Vic Damone, Mel Torme, Albert King and more. He has also performed with the American Musical Theatre, TheatreWorks and the San Jose Civic Light Orchestra.
This event is part of CSMA’s 2017-2018 Community Concert Series. In keeping with CSMA’s mission to provide Arts for All, Community Concerts are free and open to the public. The Community Concert Series is supported by a generous grant from the Applied Materials Foundation. The official media sponsor for the series is Classical KDFC radio.
