I have. I'm impressed by the intent of the organisation but to my
knowledge there is only an active branch in the NW (this seems to be
backed up from your website).

My dream is for organisations like DFEY, MySociety and Rewired State
to have a common online place for code development. Like SourceForge
but specifically for data mashups and community orientated websites.

I think that is great but is a separate issue from what I am proposing
- except that such a site might be a good place for mentors and
mentees to find each other.

I would certainly be interested in hearing more about that. For
example I would advise taking advantage of the London Hackerspace
resources.

I'm not as quick on the uptake as I once was but I'll try to remember
- guess I'm showing my age. ;-)
