I've recently purchased an izotope bundle including nectar and vocalsynth that both have a midi mode function but I cannot get it to work... I'm starting to believe its an OS issue. I am running ableton 11 (11.0.12) through rosetta on a M1 mac mini with OS 12.1.
I've followed izotope's built in tutorial of how to set up routing as well as have the same routing i've seen others use on youtube to use the midi harmony effect with nectar etc. I'm checking reddit if anyone else has experienced issues/has it working with a similar setup before reaching out to izotope support. Thank you!
to my eye (and there are people here far more advanced in their logic use & understanding), everything looks ok. but, what are you trying to do (for example) with nectar3? you're routing all your vocals to it? to create harmonies? use some auto-tuning? anyway, you could try creating a new send, and route the tracks you want to that, with (for example) nectar.
this. it's not as advanced as you'd like it to be, can only do pitch correction on one monophonic voice... at a time. you're better off using flex pitch on vocal tracks (or one instance of nectar per track). but glad you got it sorted!
