Alternate Mobile Development Option: ModelBaker

Another inexpensive mobile development platform that appears to rely on a
combination of HTML/Javascript/CSS. If I'm reading it right, the base cost
is 79 bucks.

The claim: "Fast and easy web and iPhone & iPod touch application
development. No programmers required. With built in MySQL database support
and zero programming required."

Apparently core development can be done via drag-and-drop to build the basic
app (uses an MVC approach), and then if you want to go beyond the basic
customization they provide, you modify images, CSS, and potentially
Javascript (can use the EXT.js framework).
