If you haven't seen the news already, Amazon recently released several new
Kindles, one of which is called the Fire, a multi-purpose Android-based 7"
tablet, which looks like it is gearing up to complete with just about
everybody:

While getting lots of press, the device is very tied to Amazon and is said
to use "a version" of Android, so whether this will really become a tablet
to challenge all others remains to be seen. You have to wonder whether
they'll put out larger form factor (10 inch) and support the "official"
Android app store at some point.

Looks SWEET! I wonder if it works with Rev's Android engine?

Well, the price point is right, but keep in mind that there's no
camera, no microphone, and no 3G. The OS version is a mystery, as is
the processor (other than being a dual-core something).
