Hey folks,
If you are the least bit interested in building web based iPhone
applications (HTML5, CSS & JavaScript) on Windows, I've found what to
me seems like the absolutely slickest and inexpensive development tool
around anywhere.

MobiOne
http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/index.html

I've been playing with the demo (15 day) for a few hours now and am
thoroughly impressed. It apparently is still in (or barely out of)
beta testing, but I'm seriously already ready to make a purchase. :)

Nothing else I've tried so far, will hold a candle to it.

Best regards,
David C.

That looks great. Is it a Windows-only tool? Hard to tell from the
website, but it seems that way.

Great to know David. What is most appealing about it to you? Drag-and-drop
building? No programming? What kinds of apps do you think MobiOne is good
for building?

One thing I found after spending many months on a no-programming platform is
I missed the ability to program! No repeat loops, no programmatic object
reference, so many things we take for granted with LiveCode. I found I
needed more control that the platform provided. So I am honestly curious
what kinds of apps you expect to build with MobiOne.

Hello Scott,
The cool thing is that it is really simple to build a decent user
interface, including simple page to page navigation and transitional
effects. Don't let the "no programming" part fool ya...although I
haven't done much of anything with it yet (not much of a hand using
Javascript), you do have access to the underlying code. There even
appears to be a code editor and debugger of sorts. I wouldn't be the
slightest bit interested in a true "no programming" environment and my
needs are pretty simple since I don't build games and such.... :)

Best regards,
David C.

Hey Mark,
Yes sir, I believe that is is currently Window only and I didn't
notice any plans for them doing anything with other platforms. Works
pretty well since I don't own any Mac hardware.

Hello Arthur,
Yes sir, I've checked it out a time or two, again earlier today in fact.
...can't say for sure why, but it just doesn't seem to be what I've
been hoping to find.

Best regards,

The code editor, debugger and some other other nifty tools can be
accessed from the emulator side of the dev environment.

Just for kicks, I took three small screen-shots...
