Fellow Revolutionaries,
I have used this list sparingly to say the least, but now I have something I am compelled to share with you.
I will be speaking at the Revolution March this Saturday in Washington DC. You could call it the "Beyond Ron Paul Revolution." I plan to inspire the movement by describing IVAW's strategy, and how the concepts of the GI Resistance Movement can be applied to the Freedom Movement. Just as we are resisting the war, we can resist fascism in this country. Here's a teaser from the speech, which I have been working on for weeks now:
"Our tragic love affair with the state, has led us to put far too much trust in a government that we hoped could improve our lives, but has instead come to run our lives for us. We have become, as a people, like a frightened, battered, beat down victim of an abusive relationship. A servile, unquestioning, obedient people, will always produce tyrants. We must, as a nation, once again, embrace defiance, rebellion, and resistance!"
I hope you will be there and hope spread the word about this momentous event. We will be meeting at the Washington Monument at 0930 then marching to the West Lawn of the Capitol. I will be speaking at about 3pm. I will also be at the reception at 1800 at the Holiday Inn at 550 C St SW, in the Discovery II Room.
