Devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Col 4:2

Let it not be said that His people did not praise Him for God richly deserves to be praised and worshiped. We must speak the truth according to His will, but harbor His praise in our hearts so much that it also pours forth. Today, while there is yet time, I want to share with you the praise of my heart.

Merciful Heavenly Father I come before You with Your praise on my lips and in my heart. I worship before You with great joy on bended knees. You are my God and I bow before You in total submission. You are worthy of all praise and glory and my heart rejoices to know and be known by You. Thank You, Lord, thank You for all Your merciful ways. Thank You for Your generous provision and care.

You are the great Almighty God who creates from nothing and rules by the might of Your own strength. No one is Your master, but all bow to Your authority. Your wisdom is far beyond our understanding, catching the crafty long before their plans are even fully conceived. We are completely in Your control. You are the ultimate Supreme Authority, divine in appearance being clothed in radiant majesty. There is no one Your equal, let alone, above You.

The lakes and rivers are filled with water and life at Your command, the oceans by Your word. The mountains stand and the hills roll because You have ordered them so. From the smallest sparrow to the greatest eagle, those that take to wing do so because You created them that way. The lion roars, the elephant trumpets, and the mouse squeaks with the voices you gave them. How magnificent are Your thoughts, Father! How superior Your understanding!

The plants flower and bear fruit that we might be fed. Water is purified from the deaths and springs up to provide for our thirst. The sun rises and sets that we might have light to work and be lulled to sleep by the dark. All carefully ordered by You in Your wondrous regard for our lives.

How blessed we are to know You! How merciful You are to us! O that we would have eyes that see and understand the wealth of Your love for us and ears that hear You speak to our hearts. Truly, belonging to You is a blessing man is unworthy of, but You mercifully show Yourself to be the God You are.

May the angels rejoice before You and the praise of my heart be pleasing before You, O Magnificent Lord! Let all Heaven bow before You and all the earth recognize Your worth In Yeshuah’s name, amen and amen.
