The SAP Downwards Compatible Kernel has finally been released after a long testing program. The 7.20 DCK kernel allows customers to greatly simplify their SAP landscape and also allows customers to use some enhanced features.

A red X will be displayed in the top left corner of the page and the web client does not appear to attempt to load.

The user will receive the following error: "Starting Citect Web Client Failed: Can not load citectweb.dll."
With Evernote Web extension 7.20.x (0 for Chrome, 1 for Firefox) I have a serious trouble for login into certain web sites in France (at least!), both from Firefox and Chrome (latest versions), under Windows 10 or Windows 11. So the trouble can't come (IMHO) from browser or OS.

FYI -- Some may be installing the latest ODP.NET with the 2.111.7.20. The main oracle client itself comes with 2.111.7.0 .. I've not had any success with the 7.20 but have no issues with the 7.0 client.

The new High Contrast Black theme is part of the SAP Signature Theme in SAP GUI for Windows 7.20.
SAP Signature Theme of SAP GUI for Windows is now also available in High Contrast Black view. SAP Signature theme uses a theme of its own with well-defined colors for the SAP GUI for the Windows user interface. To enable High Contrast Black view in SAP Signature theme, SAP has designed a new High Contrast Black theme and included it in SAP GUI for Windows 7.20. Dear groupmind, whilst upgrading my AB350 Pro's motherboard BIOS to the 7.20 beta, I have noticed that all my fans are running faster/louder on all presets than previously. This did not occur for any of the incremental version updates I applied from 5.80 -> 7.00. As I would not rather manually tune everything by hand, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could forward the default fan curves/settings for any BIOS predating 7.20 - or if anyone could educate me how to extract such values myself. When running System Application Products Graphical User Interface (SAP GUI) 7.20 on XenApp 5.0, XenApp 6.0 or XenApp 6.5, either on a published desktop or as a seamless application, the following symptoms are experienced:
The SAP GUI 7.20 can be configured to use different themes, such as the Enjoy Theme or the Classic Theme. These themes use less system resources. Administrators must test the most appropriate theme for their environment based on user preferences and resource allocation.
An access issue existed in Content Security Policy. This issue was addressed with improved access restrictions. This issue is fixed in iOS 13.6 and iPadOS 13.6, tvOS 13.4.8, watchOS 6.2.8, Safari 13.1.2, iTunes 12.10.8 for Windows, iCloud for Windows 11.3, iCloud for Windows 7.20. Processing maliciously crafted web content may prevent Content Security Policy from being enforced.
The custom connection method that is described in Adding Custom SAP Connections uses the SAS/ACCESS Interface to R/3 software. Accordingly, this method requires SAP Kernel Release 4.6C or higher. The SAS/ACCESS Interface to R/3 software for Windows and UNIX requires the 64-bit SAP Unicode RFC library, Release 7.20 or higher, which is provided by SAP AG.
