To be super clear when I add a new social link with @oneManDev on Facebook it automatically gets rid of the @ sign so when the user clicks on the link it redirects to instead of @oneManDev which leads to Page not found error.

download facebook video with link

That is not functioning for me on PC, so IDK what or how to get this to work, I want to link my facebook with my youtube so I can upload to YouTube and it asks to send it to FB but they are not linked and it wont go, none of the google searches have turned up anything.

I am setting up my social media links on my website, but for some reason the Facebook and Instagram links are not working. It is possible that I typed the links wrong, but the TikTok link works fine. This is the error message that I get when I click on the social media icon.

To clarify, are you working in the theme editor on your site when this error appears? The theme editor can be accessed directly through your Shopify admin by clicking on 'Online store > Themes > Current theme > Customize'. Then, once you're in the theme editor, you can add social media links by clicking on 'Theme settings > Social media'. Please let me know if this is the specific place you're working in when this error shows up.

In addition to trying the above steps, I also recommend ensuring you're entering in your social links without the '/' symbol at the end of your link. For instance, in the example you shared above, a '/' is added to the end of both your Instagram and Facebook links. However, these links should be formatted like this instead:

Hi!
I have create my Facebook Page by help of sitepoint user. Thanks for helping me.
Now.
I want to know how can I create Page like that I post my friends wall. If anyone click that link it instantly like my page.
Please help me.

Thank you for reply. But this not enough for me. I am not want web URL like code. I want direct page like link code. That I will past my friends wall and if anyone click that link it generate instant like my facebook page.

Such links are prohibited and you can very easy loose your account over such thing. Make your page interesting with a lot of fresh content and you will find the right way to get likes. Of course, you can always search for a good social media agency to help you out.

With the latest update to 16.4.1, neither of my iPads (mini or air) will open Facebook links shared with me in messenger. I understand the OS has been changed to open within the associated apps and not the browser. Thats fine however, shared Facebook links from messenger wont open in Facebook either. The Facebook app opens to the home page and that's it. Nothing else happens.

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

Something blocking between FB Messenger and FB Apps. If I try to go into Account settings from the FB Messenger app - FB App opens but does not go to Account Settings. This happens on the iPad Air only.

I have tested by logging into FB on Safari and this works. It opens the link in the embedded version of the Safari browser FB Messenger. Also - if you use the option to open the link in FB Messenger App - successfully.

So the issue is only related to opening certain links (probably video) in FB Messenger which then sends the call to FB App to open... which fails, just opens the Facebook App showing what ever is on the FB app at the time. Something blocking at this point.

Facebook mobile apps come with a built-in browser. Whenever you follow an external link posted on Facebook, it opens in this very browser. Recently the social network decided to start collecting the history of all the links you click, and to use this data to show you targeted ads.

Facebook link ads are a potentially cost-effective option for businesses looking to increase conversions. With nearly 1.5 billion daily users and $13.5 billion in advertising revenue reported in Q3 of 2018, Facebook offers an unparalleled advertising experience for marketers.

Facebook link ads are single image advertisements that help promote your website, landing page or article. They can have differing placements (Feed, Stories, Instagram, etc.), so you can use the same ads in a variety of locations to reach a wider audience. Additionally, these ads can help grow the number of likes and boost engagement.

Typically, ads in the right column are less expensive than those in the news feed due to fewer conversions. Since they are only available to view on desktop (with no CTA button), click-through rates tend to be lower. However, only two right column ads can be viewed at any one time and are effective in retargeting prospects when used in combination with news feed ads.

Boosted posts can be used to encourage users to visit your website instead of receiving engagement on a specific post. However, you have a limited number of options to select when setting up your promotion, including your overall goal, audience, and budget:

While boosted posts can work well for small businesses who wish to build brand awareness or gain authority in their niche, Facebook ads offer more flexibility, whether you wish to use a link ad or video as part of your marketing campaign.

Carousel ads are great in highlighting one or more products, whether that includes benefits or how to use a product. You can engage users by giving a service tour or sharing various blog posts from your website.

Creating the perfect Facebook link ad is straightforward when you consider each ad component. Each part can be clicked, including the text and image. Keep the following in mind when building your link ads:

Using text in your image is also an effective way of attracting users to your ad. Facebook only allows text on 20% of your advert so using an enticing image is essential. The ad below is a great example of using an image to complement the headline and offer:
