Hi All,

After migrating svn server to a higher OS one with the latest patches, users get unexpected return value (400 Bad Request) in response to OPTIONS request for <http://Repo_URL>
from the machine running RB.

Repository is totally accessible via any browser.

new server has mod_status module disabled, will that impact tool, do users need to reconfigure RB to see new server.

Please advise.

Is there an HTTP proxy between the Review Board server and the SVN server?

Hi Mai,

Can you show us the list of enabled modules for Apache? Subversion requires mod_dav_svn, and it sounds like that's either not loaded or requests using those HTTP methods are being filtered out by some proxy or something.

SVN server is working and users can run their builds and do commits

If mod_dav_svn is not there svn wont work at all.

I can confirm that we disbaled mod_status is it needed.

Do you think user needs to reconfigure review board after we changed svn server with a higher OS one.

You’ll probably need to upgrade PySVN/Subvertpy (whichever you’re using) and libsvn on the Review Board server. Seems it’s not able to speak the same protocol as your Subversion server. The RBTools clients don’t be affected, so long as the command line svn tool works.
