Hello,

We had recently setup ES cluster and created the index via rebuild_index command. We try to compare the full text search results, we get in web interface with mysql query results. The number of results, we get, mismatch. When we debugged further, we got to know few of the review requests were not indexed. We tried running update_index. But that didn't fix the issue. Could you please let me know the possible reasons for this?

Thanks,
Hema.

Is it possible that you have a handful of review requests which were posted as drafts but never published? Those wouldn't show in search results but are still present in the database.

Thanks for the reply, David.

The missing review requests had been published but closed as discarded. Will the discarded review requests won't get indexed?

Regards,
Hemapriya.

Hemapriya,

Looking at the code, we apparently exclude them. That's maybe something we should revisit. Could you file an issue on our tracker?

Thanks,
-David
