Hello,

I'm using RB 7.0.4 with Python 3.12

I'm getting an Error 404 displayed in the section of the New Review Request where it's supposed to show the commits for the repository.

The log file shows this for each attempt to refresh:

2026-03-04 21:21:53,317 - WARNING -  - django.request - Not Found: /review/api/repositories/1/branches/

Any thoughts? What common setup mistakes would cause this?

Thanks for any help,
-Dan

A few questions:

Can you open /admin/settings/general/ and verify that "Server" is set to the correct URL?

What version control system/hosting service are you using?

Are you using any kind of reverse proxy in your deployment?

David

Thanks for responding.

This is being run locally (to try/explore certain features of Review Board) so the server is just http://localhost.

The version control system (also hosted locally) is Subversion, http://127.0.0.1/test, which works fine on the Subversion command line.

And to follow up, it mostly seems to work. When I click New Review Request, it brings up the page for doing that. The top part of the page where you can upload a diff file looks fine. It's just the part showing the branches to create from a commit that is pink and shows the 404.
