Hello

From the help page of webhook.  The reviewboard server can send a http POST content with payload( review update info) to a specified URL that configured in the webhook page.

So is it possible that we just send a http Get command?

As we want to trigger a Jenkins remote build by use the http GET in webhook if the review is updated.

Hi,

Rather than trying to build this yourself using webhooks, I'd suggest trying out the rb-integrations 2.0 beta1 release, which includes a jenkins integration:

Hi, David

Thanks for the useful info.
Currently we use the reviewboard3.0 which do not integrated Jenkins from its admin panel...

From the manual of reviewboard 4.0, it suggests not to upgrade from reviewboard 3.0 to 4.0 directly in production enviroment,
As we are not familiar with reviewboard services. Is there any suggestion for how to upgrade it safely?

Thanks

Hi,

You can install the pre-release rbintegrations 2.0 build here: https://downloads.reviewboard.org/releases/rbintegrations/2.0/index.html

That has the Jenkins support, and should work fine on Review Board 3.0.

As for using 4.0 in production, we're very close to release, so if you're feeling like you can manage the possible bugs or regressions that come up, you're welcome to use it. You'd probably want a Premium Support contract, though, in order to get priority bug fixes and custom builds with those fixes. That said, I'd start with using rbintegrations 2.0 beta 1 on Review Board 3.
