Hi everyone,

Long time no update. We've been heads-down on the next major version of Review Board, which is in final development and testing. We hope to share more about this one soon.

In the meantime, we've just released Review Board 7.0.5. This release focuses on:

  • Greater support for installing on modern Linux distros
  • Fixes for installing with newer Python environments (due to recent breaking changes in the Python ecosystem)
  • Support for Bitbucket's new API tokens for linking repositories (you'll need to edit your Bitbucket credentials in Review Board before the old scheme goes away this Summer).
  • New dependency updates with a focus on security and cryptographic improvements
  • Bug fixes here and there

As a reminder, if you're looking for help supporting your Review Board server, we offer affordable Support Contracts tuned for your needs. We work to keep the tough problems off of your plate, and your contracts help ensure Review Board can continue to be developed for years to come.

For information on support, you can view our support options (https://www.reviewboard.org/support/) or e-mail me directly to discuss how we might help you out.

Hello.
We installed new version (docker) and got some problems.
Review request fields on web form becomes uneditable even for admins (reviever groups/user, description, summary, testing done, etc).
But I still can fill it from cli.
I have no enough time yet to discover the root of the problem (maybe it only on our installation), I'll send new information on this week (will test it on new reviewboard installation too).
For now I can tell that I see 404 errors in browser console for urls like: /api/review-requests/16978/reviews/draft/?1774326524867&api_format=json

Sorry for this issue. It didn’t occur in testing, but we believe we tracked down the cause. A new dependency update ended up affecting the production builds in a subtle way that broke a different dependency, and that affected these fields. We’re working on a fix and hope to release within a day.

In the meantime, you can downgrade back to 7.0.4 until 7.0.6 is out.
