One of our user not receiving email notifications

Hello,

One of our employee never gets the notifications by email when something is changed to review board. Although he has from his user profile the option "Send Email" and "Receive Emails about own actions" checked he is still not receiving them. I already checked the spam folder nothing there, i triggered the permissions. And also he is the only one with this problem, everyone else are receiving the notifications.

Any idea ?

Hi Alexandre,

Nearly every time we’ve seen this, it’s turned out to be some filter or mail server configuration issue.

What version of Review Board are you using, and what service is being used for e-mail?

We are on Review Board 2.5.17 and for the emails we are on Gmail.

do you have a local smtp server which relays the email, or are you
directly injecting mail into google's MXers?

if you have a local mail relay, can you check the logs and verify it
is actually completing the email handshake with Google's MXers?

Thank you for your help, really appreciated, we actually found the solution, the problem was on the gmail side.
