Group permissions are not getting applied to users in the group

What steps will reproduce the problem?


    

  1. Add a permission to a group ex: "can change status"
    2. 

  2. Users in the group don't see a menu option "Close"
    3. 



What is the expected output? What do you see instead?


I expect the users in the group to be able to get access to "Close" menu


What operating system are you using? What browser?


linux, firefox
