All,

I am running Ubuntu 10.04.x 64 bit server and have ReviewBoard running fine.
However I have an occasional problem and I dont know if its a RB issue or Apache or a combination.

The issue is that sometime attachments are stored within the database hierarchy but with the wrong file permissions (in this case usually root ro access).

I have only noticed as I back up the database each night and this then fails (no read permission).

Has any one else seem this before or have any pointers of where to look in order to fix this?

Many thanks
Dan

Hi Daniel,

I haven't personally seen this before. We save files as whatever user we're running as, which should be Apache's user. I'm not sure how the ownership would end up changing.
