Hi,
I'm yet another one of your devoted fans :)

I have a colleague coming over from the UK called Tim Perrett, which
beside being a brilliant and passionate developer, is also one of the
main committers in the Lift project you've briefly mentioned in the
past.
(see http://liftweb.net/team , he's the third one, here's his blog :
http://blog.getintheloop.eu/ )

Although it might be a bit out of context since it'll be in English
and not Hebrew, I though it could be cool if you would do a podcast
with him about Lift / Scala.

We work in Netanya as well, so coming over to your office for the
recording should not be a problem..

He's suppose to come in mid November (7th - 11th), although the dates
are not 100% final..

Sounds good to me, I've always wanted to learn more Lift but never had the chance, so it should be fun just talking about it.
The only challenge is that the week of Nov 11th is a bit tricky for myself and Ori, so I hope we can find a day and time that works for all.
Should I try and schedule something with Tim then?

Afternoon Ran,

I would be delighted to talk about Lift and Scala :-) Do you have a format that you folks usually work with for shows? I guess it would probably be best to talk at a high level and explain how lift differs from other frameworks and approaches etc.

Thanks, Tim

The format is pretty loose, we usually sit for a few minutes before the recording and sketch on the board the main points we want to discuss and then record an open and free conversation for 1/2h; naturally since you're the expert you'll get asked questions, but generally it's an open conversation rather than an interview. I'd let you listen to a few example episodes if I only had something in English ;)
