The project is still alive, but development of the storage core is somewhat stalled,

since everything seems to work fine and no new features are scheduled for inclusion into core itself.

 

Wrappers over the client libraries can be developed instead for particular purposes.

I want to run in Ubuntu Server 1804, but repository is missing. And repository for Ubuntu 1604 - empty.

About wrappers. For python in PIP - missing. And I need for Go.

p.s. Maybe create telegram group for quick conversation?

Python module comes with elliptics source code and can be installed.

Go bindings can be found for example here: https://github.com/bioothod/elliptics-go

 

There is also a bunch of helpers to work with backrunner buckets
