Yandex has launched cloud object storage as a service. Does it use Elliptics inside?

Does Yandex use Elliptics as a part of cloud object storage (https://cloud.yandex.ru/services/storage)? Is Elliptics still used in Yandex.Disk and Yandex.Mail?

Also could you please clarify, if the Elliptics development is stopped? There were no new commits for a long time. Is it because Elliptics reached mature, stable state, and no new features are needed?

Elliptics is underlying basement part of yandex data storage, disk, mail and cloud storages have been built on top of it.

Yandex stopped committing into our repository quite long ago though, they do have its own, but I do not know whether it is active or not.

It is more or less stopped, we at reverbrain frequently help with setup issues and consulting, but development is not really active on the storage level these days.
