I have wandered into a whole group of Reveleys in Yorkshire that started with a Simpson Reveley and the name has continued through the family as a first or middle name.  Doesn't that line belong to somebody out there?

Yes, this is the same family group that I found. Thanks!  I haven't gotten any earlier than Thomas & Ann.

This group do pop up in my tree, although not on my direct line... my
REVELEY line goes back to Thomas REVELEY & Ann PRUDOMs, and my line down is
their son John born 1788.

I have a Simpson REVELEY born 1821 in Flixton & married to Hannah APPLEBY,
and then the name Simpson pops up through several of their descendants....
Simpson REVELEY's parents are Thomas REVELEY born 1792 (and brother to John
above) & Mary WRIGHT.....

Cheers,
Kat
