Error on opening Revelation on Debian Linux

The following error message appears on opening Revelation Password.

Revelation installed on new Debian Linux install. Crucial SSD 240gb 8gb RAM
System formatted using guided partitioning with LVM and separate /home /var /tmp partitions.
After clicking "close" a password file can be opened.
