Dear RevBayes list,

How do I traverse the branches of a tree in Rev while learning which branch is adjacent to which?

The reason I’m asking is because I would like to code the Thorne Kishino 2002 relaxed clock (namely, autocorrelated lognormal branch rate multipliers). For the autocorrelation, one needs to know the structure of the tree.

(Or maybe the needed distribution is implemented in C++ and directly accessible in Rev, and I just have not found it?)

Thank you in advance!

All the best,
 Igor

Hi Igor,

The tutorial on relaxed Brownian motion shows how to specify an autocorrelated clock by traversing through the tree.

HTH,
Torsten
