Dear Ms. Jyothi - Skanda and others,
My experience with batteries is also not good. I had to change the batteries when I had done just 18,000 Kms or so, the second set batteries "Trojan brand" was supposed to be excellent, even this is not up to the mark, it is just about 2 years and I am getting just 30-35 kms in the green band. I am afraid I may be heading for second change of batteries at a cost of about 70,000 +
 
Anyway, I have one important information to share.
 
Recently through Mr. Mukesh bhatt, I got in touch with a firm in Mumbai who are importing machines which clean the batteries and the life is restored to a very large extent. I am told that even dead batteries have been revived to give 30% life. The company has forwarded several testimonial certificates from Banks, corporates, auto industries certifying that their batteries have been satisfactorily revived. The cost is also very nominal.
I am thinking of inviting the company to come to Bangalore and give a demo of their product. I am looking for reva car owners who have problem with battery. We all can afford to spend small amount compared to huge amount on the new batteries.
Those of you who are interested in reviving their battery life, please get in touch with me. Once I have sufficient numbers of cars, then I can invite the company on a particular day and get the batteries revivied.
