Veeam free agent is, IMO a half baked and crippled promotional product that is marginally better than Windows Backup and in one of the most unreliable DR clients I've ever used. When I install backup agents on servers or PCs I'm one of the few engineers that will actually test the restore process and Veeam free Agent is terrible at restore flexibility. - server and workstation. The only environment I trust Veeam Agent to restore to is a virtual one, and if I need to do that for free I can do that just as well with Disk2VHD and a simple schedule script. Also, disk2VHD or Macrium (far superior and reliable BM restore environment) don't spam me with phone calls and E-mails when I download their product .
