Tap Into Actionable Knowledge: Become a Zero Waste Community Associate

One-Two-Three. The Zero Waste Community Associate Certification (ZWCA)  program through ZW USA engages you to support communities on their way to embracing and achieving Zero Waste. Enrollees complete three programs- Intro to Zero Waste, Zero Waste Principles & Tools, and Zero Waste Planning. Attendance, coursework, projects, and exams will earn a certification. As a certified pro, you're qualified to help communities meet their Zero Waste challenges.

Proof. Zero Waste USA certified 20 students in the 2017 series sponsored by the San Francisco Department of the Environment. Many have grown into higher positions after completing the ZWCA program and earning certification.

The first step, Intro to Zero Waste, can be taken in person - the next class will be on March 16 in Berkeley, CA. Or...take it online via GreenEducation.US! The first course is discounted through March to allow you to check the program out. You can then attend Class 2 on March 20th, in person, in conjunction with the National Zero Waste Conference.
