Subject: Holiday waste reduction campaign & national survey results regarding consumption
I wanted to let you know about a waste prevention campaign (Simplify the Holidays) and tool (SoKind Alternative Gift Registry) that are now being managed by the Center for Biological Diversity but were previously managed by New Dream. Both the website and registry include alternative gift idea lists with categories such as homemade gifts, charitable donations, experiences, time and more. Please share information about this campaign and tool via our social media toolkit here.
I also wanted to share a report the Center for Biological Diversity published last week regarding a nationally representative online survey about wildlife, climate change, consumption and solutions that empower communities to become resilient and equitable.
