my intro

Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself from a musical side.
I play bass and guitar, record (ProTools) and have some vocal
ability. I've played for a couple decades, mostly rock stuff, and my
likes tend to be more pop/alternative/rock. I've been trying to find a
band to join, but it's always been challenging to find others who's
schedules line up with mine (and mine is pretty crazy, so that doesn't
help :) ).
I'd like to find others that are like me - professionals in technology
or similar fields, but also like to play and have (if I may say so
myself) a decent amount of musical capability and professionalism.
As far as equipment, on bass I have a Rick 4001, Boogie head and SVT
4x10 cab. On guitar it's a custom sort-of-Strat-like and Boogie
triaxis + 50/50 amp + 4x12 cab.
Anyway, that's me.... even if we just get together and go out and hear
some good bands or have some casual jams that would be great too!

I just checked out your website and noticed you're from Davenport.
I'm (originally) from the other side of Iowa, myself.
