I am pleased to announce the latest stable version of RomWBW.  The RomWBW GitHub repository is found at https://github.com/wwarthen/RomWBW.  The downloadable releases are found on the Releases page at https://github.com/wwarthen/RomWBW/releases.

Note that there is now a specific platform for the official RC2014 hardware.  The "RC2014" platform is optimized for the hardware distributed at Z80Kits.  The original platform "RCZ80" will continue to be available for systems and hardware compatible with RCBus.

Thanks!

Wayne

Thanks Wayne. Keep up the exceptional work.
I'll phase this into my kits when the current stock of kits is exhausted.

Wayne, thanks for the hard work maintaining and enhancing RomWBW for the community, it’s undoubtedly the top quality reference platform for Z80 retrocomputing.

RomWBW is not just for Z80, it is also for Z180 and Z280.  His solution to Z280’s MMU and DMA is outstanding.  RomWBW is also flexible to accommodate great many different hardware configurations with different clock speeds.  I used to think once my design can run CP/M, it has reached the ultimate solution, but now I’m not done until it can run RomWBW.

Just wanted to add my praise and thanks to Wayne (and all the contributors to the project)

I got to talk to Wayne once - they say "never meet your heroes"  -- well in the case, they were wrong.   He was brilliant and very friendly -- just like RomWBW!

Thanks Wayne.

Dean.
