This topic is designed to form a reference list of hardware available for the Z50Bus.

Post a brief description of any new product.
Include a link for detailed information.
Only post a product once and only one product per post.
Products must be complete and either be available to buy or full design details must be published.

SC118, Z80 processor card for Z50Bus

Works in a modest way as an SBC, but can be expanded via the Z50Bus.

I just want to mention that the
Z50Bus was developed by LiNC (www.linc.no)
The bus specification can be found here:

This is probably a stupid question but bear with me.
How does the SC118 work if connected to the LiNC1 via the z50bus ?

Hi Karl

It doesn't.

This topic is a list of available products for the Z50Bus, not necessarily also for the LiNC80 SBC. The LiNC80 uses the Z60Bus for expansion. In effect, SC118 is an alternative to the LINC80 SBC.

Actually, if this topic is designed as a "List of available hardware" (or more specifically, a "reference list of hardware") there should be a different topic to discuss those products, or the items being listed will be lost amongst the discussions. I have, therefore, created the topic "Z50Bus, general discussion" in "Existing Boards and System".

Hi Steve,
Nice work.  Is there a provision to add pull-ups to the IEI / IEO links?

I would expect any card using IEI/IEO to have a pullup on its IEI input.

Connection of IEI on the first module in the backplane seems to me to be not needed. Also the first module in the chain may not be in the first slot.

It was an old design rule for ttl not to direct connect inputs to vcc, as this reduced the operating voltage range, but it has become quite common to see direct connections to vcc for nmos and cmos devices.
