FPGA based MCU's on teh RCBus.

    I've made an FPGA based design so I can implement whatever executable engine I want and drop it onto the RCBus. An 8086 acting like a 68000 on the bus is trivial.

    It's hard for me, or probably anyone, to say how much interest there would be in something like this.

    So far, the only 16-bit MCU I've seen on the RCBus is the 68000. Is there any other?

There are Z280 and Z8000 for RCBus as well as 68K and CPU32 designs.  As you’ve pointed out that RCBus 16-bit bus is not well defined and board real estate is limited, so the approach is using CPLD as a small bootROM and decode for the onboard 16-bit RAM, then treat RCBus as I/O expansion bus.
