Hey folks, long time reader, first time poster.

I was looking for an SPI->UART chip I had used in the past, and while searching, I stumbled across the Zilog ZDU0110 which is an I2C->UART interface. It looks pretty cool.

Anyway, the point is, when I go to Zilog.com, I can search, but there doesn't seem to be a listing of all their current-production products. Does anybody have access to a recent or modern Zilog databook or catalog? I can search digi-key for things in stock, but there's lots of multiple form factors and things. It'd be neat to just read the manufacturer databook but I can't find it...

Any suggestions?

Best,
IS

I don't have answer to your Z80 databook question but I found ZDU0110 very interesting and want to acquire a few to play with.  I don't know about Zilog SPI-to-UART chip, but I do know MAX3100 is a SPI-to-UART device.

I'd looked at and will probably eventually use the XR20M1172 rather than the MAX3100 for a SPI or I2C to UART interface.  It's dual vs single channel, cheaper, 64 vs 8 byte FIFO's, 16Mbps max vs 230Kbps, has an RS485 option, etc.  The downside for some users may be that it's 3.6V max vs 5.5V and there's no DIP package.
