I hope so, since most of my designs are documented on retrobrewcomputers.  The website was overwhelmed with bots last few months, I hope the admin is fixing the bots problem.  I’m Plasmo on retrobrewcomputers.

Bill - I've wondered why you don't host the material on github?

I’m transitioning to GitHub slowly.  Retrobrewcomputers web software is easy to use and friendly to my old Windows browser, but I guess all the security hurdles and identity verifications do serve the purpose of slowing down bots attacks, so I’m moving my design database over.   It is hard learning a new trick for this old dog, however.

I've been unable to get to into the RetroBrew website for a LONG LONG time. And I lack any explanation as to why.  But I would very much like to see Bill's work on RetroBrew - as Plasmo - to be moved to a more reliable server.  I am VERY interested in the 68000 Family and Bill's work has helped me many times.  I thought that I could just get back to retrobrew any time. Dead Wrong.  Almost all of the 68000 projects on RetroBrew are Bill's.  Way ahead of me but very inspiring.  Thanks, Bill.  However the 2 ECB 68000 projects - I would very much like to see those hosted in a reliable server also.  One ECB card was 68008. The second ECB card was a 68030 card.  And Bill also had his own Reverse-Engineered 68000 card too, with a CF attachment option.

For what it's worth ...

Although the Internet Archive has been having issues with the retrobrewcomputers website this year as well, the most recent working copy I was able to find was Dec 29, 2025:

Harry,
Thank you for your kind words.
Retrobrewcomputers is still down which is a bad situation for me because I have about 50 homebrew projects documented there.  I will upload all the design files of these projects to GitHub first and then add the necessary descriptions to tie the files together.  I afraid this will be a long process.
Bill
PS, I have documented a recent 68000 design on GitHub.  It started out as a barebones tester to checkout 64-DIP 68000, but that did not take much room so to fill up a 100mmx100mm PCB, I’ve added enough I/O to make it a 68000 SBC.

Darren, it's not so much about inputting the date.  After inputting the website of interest into the "Wayback Machine" search box, it shows you a calendar with dates marked that have backups.  From there's it's finding the version you're looking for from the backups that were successful.

hi guys, ya, I also previously experienced problems with retrobrewcomputers, but never that 500 yet ... crazy; ((

Bill, pls, I would be glad to help you with that github uploads and organizing things there; sadly my own projects needs this too, but I literally "burnt all hydrogen" (I mean ALL) just in recent months; I was devoting all my resources just to the projects only, parts, learning, design, and simultaneously also to helping to some close ppl around, few only, also to one girl with kids and ex-wife (some kind of artist, books writer), I am quite possible to help others but not so much to myself, the more I am to some extent also so-called "pro russian ba*tard" or anti-war, anti-weapons and anti-nato guy (here it is heavily bad and it is quite causing some PTSD-related things, almost). Simply I need some remote job. But I am unable to communicate with arrogant/aggressive ppl (that's the scientology issue), that freezes me literally, and the warmongering situation in my country was crazy since 2022, I am afraid that lot of embedded electronics and even analytics sw here is devoted to weapons now, I can't help myself to not follow politics,  investigating world issues and analyzing what's wrong where, it was my natural soul as software developer, having "automatized control systems" high-school education. Back in 1989 we were "solving commies" here and I spent on university (CVUT FEL) only that 1 year and then went to work instead of military service to hospital as IT admin (sole after a while) - if anybody is interested, I can sent my CV, but my ability to focus right now, is very limited, some kind of depression, just because my projects are also in stall, not only projects. But I love your work Bill, sad thing that retrobrew is dead now, ... if I know something, then its ability to analyze and organize things with related tags and within timeline, almost like AI LLM machine, I work this way myself for decades, having local timelined archive of things, linking related knowledge and finding the information (even needles) from huge data, of course slower than machine, but it was never much bad ...Thing is, back in nineties, when I searched some info about embedded things using altavista, I very often found detailed things only in cyrilics ... and after some (not perfect at that time) translations, there was found details investigated by guys from East quite deeply, nowhere else found ... so I have nothing against anybody who peacefully investigates technology and understand it from inside (learning from inside best too, of course). Situation is for years already very sad to me. So if I can to some extend to help you, I am able almost to re-read your mind and find way how to put it all well on github, I hope ... I would only thing about adding timeline info, WHEN was what designed, this is quite crucial info and it is mostly missing anywhere, github has this all internally inside project, but good to have such info burnt into topic/name of project (my2c only, sure), otherwise, you had everything on the site nicely, so if you want some kind of such help ... or if anybody has something I can do remotely and to be paid little-bit, only to survive, for all good people, I am here.

Thanks, Petr
