Hi,
Can anyone enlighten me about the hexcom.cpm file in CPM/3 (slice 3 of the RomWBW combo disk)? Why does it have the .cpm extension? The CPM/3 user guide talks about hexcom.com.
Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Weird. I don't know how that happened. I occasionally see a .cpm extension on CP/M applications. I kind of assumed it was to avoid a restriction that some old BBS' had on uploading .COM files, but not sure.
Regardless, I will fix this in the RomWBW distribution. In the interim, you can just rename it to .COM:

Thanks for the very quick response. Thanks also for the whole RomWBW project, it's an outstanding piece of work which adds tremendously to the world of retro hardware.
