He also released several volumes of circuit cellar material including assorted gadgets (some of their time) and designs for Z8, Z180 (which became at one point a fairly common Z180 kit and the basis of the TRS80 Z180 XLR8R), and I believe Z8000.

Thanks Alan, I'll track them down later and post the links. I have about 15GB of storage on my google drive (which I don't use) so plenty of space for a decent sized library

In 92 Steve Ciarcia did a series of articles in the Circuit Cellar Ink for the HCS II. This is a home controller built around a Z180 and used RS485/X10 etc to control various appliances etc.

I used to have one back in the 90s. I must of sold it as it has been gone for awhile. Never got installed for the intended use.  Maybe a retro build around RC2014 would be feasible. :)

Looks like a this is the site that has everything preserved.

Wow, I had forgotten I posted that blog entry 10-years ago !!

archive.org is another good resource for old magazine etc.
