I am desperately trying to get Quartus to run on my PC. So far, with limited success. Quartus II seems to work well, but I can't get Modelsim to run. I am using the license-free version. I am basically using Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, as the update from Leap 15.6 to 16.0 destroyed my development environment. I also use Windows 11 in VirtualBox.
Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations, but I was hoping to be able to run the timing simulation for a MAX7000 device from Quartus using the RTL simulation function. This link does not work for me.
Do you have any advice or suggestions?
Thanks Laszlo

I've not tried Modelsim since I reinstalled my laptop, but in my notes from a while back I have these two links, maybe they'll help.
