Google Chrome dev tools no longer lets me re-position it to the bottom of the page instead of the right side. Anyone know how I can re-enable this function? It makes it very difficult to use it in certain screen layouts.

I did a search and it seems like people were having problems in 2018 - 2020, but there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer. I am using chrome, I cannot remove extensions as they are managed by my organization. Any suggestions on how to "pin" the scrollbar so it shows all the time? The vertical one shows all the time, why can't the horizontal one show too?

Maybe this is related to browser zoom? I just fixed mine (I go from Mac to PC and back in SS) - always see scroll bars on mac - not PC. On PC I set my chrome zoom below 100% - for me 90%) and bottom scroll bar appears. I do notice on PC when sheet is filtered, side scrollbar goes away- not really bothersome given the filter.:)

In the past when I log in to a website in chrome and i am in user field it has an option on the bottom to click for 1 password. Nothing there now. I have to leave chrome and then go back to chrome and it suddenly appears. Seems odd.

Add a bit more, I used to on my ipad in chrome when prompted for a password click on the bottom of the screen for passwords but that area doesn't show anything......until.......I leave chrome and come back in to it. the second I do that the password click at the bottom appears. Not sure if it is a setting or just an update that has caused this to be a pain. As long as I leave chrome and come back it works everytime.

Is anybody else seeing this? I am logged into my admin page. When I open another window or tab and go to my website I used to get the Shopify circle in the bottom left corner. I could live with that. A couple of days ago that has now changed to a big black bar along the bottom of each page to edit the page or collection etc. I can close it out but it reappears on every single page. I was hoping this was just a temporary bug and would go away. It has not. Is anybody else seeing this? Is there a way to disable it? It is annoying. Only happens in Chrome. I am using an updated version. Have restarted, etc. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Sample screenshot below.

Just a quick comment on the full screen display, I noticed that the bottom part of the picture is cut off as compared to the smaller image, there seems to be no way to move the image up or down as the slider has no effect. latest version of Chrome. A variable size image would be idea or the option to pop out the image in another scalable window.

With iOS 15, Apple made the controversial decision to move the address and search bar in Safari to the bottom of the browser window. This was a hotly contested move during the beta process, where it was rife with problems. But Apple listened and made a host of major changes before the iOS 15 final release, including the ability to revert the bar to the top of the screen in Settings.

From the resulting screen, look for the Bottom Omnibox (steady) setting, which should be highlighted. Change the selection to Enabled. Then close Chrome and relaunch it. Your Omnibox should now be on the bottom.

If you are in the middle of a long portion of text, if you pause for a second or two, the input box snaps right back down to the bottom of the text, and then you have to scroll back up to see where you were.

Going back and making tweaks to this question here has done the same, so it is not site specific. Try deleting the 2 asterisks in the edit box toward the top of this question and moving it to the middle of that section. The box will snap to the bottom before you get the chance to complete the task.

When viewing the same page (www.rifters.org) in IE 9, there is no repeating top portion of the image along the bottom, however, the last 3-5 pixels are cut off (which makes up the text portion of my logo, so it looks funny).
