Group fitness classes are great, but they're expensive. At-home workout classes can be a great alternative, but still often require dipping into your wallet. But if you're already paying for a Netflix subscription, here's some good news: you now have access to free fitness classes.
At the end of last year, Netflix partnered with Nike Training club, giving Netflix subscribers access to stream fitness classes. Divided into programs, each Nike Training Club installment has multiple episodes to stream, totaling 30 hours of exercises.
After Netflix generates the search results, you'll see 10 different programs to choose from. Select which program your body is in the mood to move to. I've personally been enjoying the "Fall in love with Vinyasa yoga" program after my sitting marathon at work.
The Nike Training Club app is still free to use and download. If you have a Netflix subscription, regardless of which plan, the Nike Training Club classes are accessible via Netflix and built into your Netflix membership.
Starting in December of 2022, Netflix officially entered it's fitness streaming era. Partnering with Nike Training Club, Netflix members can now stream HIIT, yoga, and eight other workout programs alongside Netflix's extensive movie and TV catalog.

Last month, Netflix announced it would bring fitness classes to the platform for the first time. The first 30 hours of Nike Training Club classes dropped on Dec. 30, and a second batch is expected sometime this year. Peruse classes across several fitness programs, including Kickstart Fitness with the Basics, Two Weeks to a Stronger Core, Fall in Love with Vinyasa Yoga, and HIT & Strength with Tara. There are also collections of 10-, 20-, and 30-minute classes.
There are some very targeted yoga workouts on Amazon, in particular a series with Maggie Binkley that offers 15-minute sessions that are easy to fit into your day. There are also a couple of longer, class-style programs that give you something new for every day of the month.
For those looking for a workout that can carry them throughout the week, Maggie Binkley leads a 15-Minute Cardio Burn 5.0 Workout that doesn't require any equipment. The Full Body Every Day Workouts series is mostly equipment-free and offers variety throughout the week.
Kanopy is free with your public library card or university email. It uses a credit system; everybody gets 10 credits per month, and each thing you watch eats up one credit. As Kanopy notes, however, a number of selections have a 48- or 72-hour viewing period, during which you can watch something as many times as you want, so you could conceivably view these workouts more than 10 times in one month depending on how ambitious you get with your fitness routine.
Yoga can be adapted to any body and all of Kanopy's offerings emphasize this. Gentle Yoga for Parkinson's has modifications for many levels of movement and the Yoga for Health series addresses various medical conditions and issues.
