I know (due to a youtube video explaining it) you can train on an insane amount of openings already known and gathered within Chessbase (since Chessbase 15 actually) using the WhiteRepertoire or BlackRepertoire.

Chessbase in general is not very intuitive and this is especially true with some of these newer features. I personally use chessable and created my own repertoires on that platform by using my purchased repertoires and customizing (adding and changing specific lines). I then use chessbase for a lot of statistics and researching lines that I then add or change on my chessable custom repertoires.

Yes, Chessbase 16 is a powerful tool. That's why I recommended the tutorials on the Chessbase homepage. You should study them patiently.
No pain, no gain.
The manual also has 500 pages.
I use CB16 very intensively for my opening training and don't use any other tool.

I'm kind of desperate because if, for instance, B02 has never been played in the database I got, you can extract all you want the openings you'll never get B02 (you can still insert it you'd tell me).

I know I could edit my previous message but since it's news I'm bringing it seems appropriate to post a new one. Besides, if someone has the same question, this person will have what I consider to be the most complete answer.

So, I reached to Chessbase support with the question on "how to get all the ECO in Chessbase to train". Basically, the program only is enough for what I need because of the access of the cloud database but none of the ECO will be annotated of course.

The best deal as I've been told is the megadatabase for ECO and ECO+annotation. I was aware of that but baby steps... I'm far from there so Megadatabase 2022 is maybe not the way to go if 2023 is coming...

Considering buying the Encyclopedia of Openings is not a bad option either and can be done later. I don't think I can be really certain before buying the program (I won't got to the full package that's for sure).
