I downloaded Retlang.1.0.5.0.dll.chm. I am on Wndows XP. The table of
contents for the chm file shows, but I can't navigate to any of the
pages ("Navigation ... canceled"). Is there something I should be
doing?

Thanks for your help.

For some reason, either the upload or download gets corrupted when it
is a stand-alone .chm file. However, the same file is included in
Retlang.1.0.5.0.zip and I confirmed that works fine. I deprecated the
chm standalone download to eliminate any confusion.

Thanks,

Graham

Hi Graham,

That doesn't work for me either. Neither IE 8 nor 'Microsoft HTML Help
Executable' work for me. What renders a page for you? Is there something
else that can decode the file?
Thanks for your help.

I figured it out.  The old one wasn't corrupted.  Windows has a protection scheme against chm files that were not built locally.

To open the chm file, right click on it and go to Properties.  Under the General tab, next to Security: click the Unblock button.  Click Ok, then reopen the file.

Thank you Graham. That indeed solved the problem.
