I just happened to see the following in You tube when I was searching for something else. The style was simple and attractive. Govindarajan.

Less well known than Bhadrachala Ramadasa, Shri Etla Ramadasa was a stone cutter from Andhra Pradesh. The story goes that when he split a solid, spherical
rock into two, a frog jumped out from it! This made him spontaneously compose a song describing the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu....Matsya (Fish), Kurma (Tortoise), Varaha (Boar), Narasimha (Half man - half lion) and so on. Dr.Balamuralikrishna set the lyrics to a typical, earthy, Andhra folk style tune that we can easily identify with as the composer's authentic voice.Rama avathara is surprisingly missing from the lyrics, but the song is a real treasure. Pawan Kalyan gaaru has sung it now in 2013 and made it more well known among the public.
