Retina India Banglore chapter welcomes you to the " Stakeholder
Discussion on Issues of Women with Vision Impairment" on the occasion
of the International women’s Day. The chapter is hosting a panel
discussion to identify the various issues that are faced by VI women
at different levels. We welcome everyone, especially women, from all
walks of life to attend this discussion and be part of the process.

9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Registration of participants
10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.: Welcome address, Invocation and felicitation
of women role models and achievers.
10:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon: Introduction of panelists and panel discussion
12:00 noon – 12:15 p.m. –Open forum with the audience
12:15 p.m. – 12:25 p.m. – Summation of the discussion
12.25 p.m. – 12.30 p.m.: Programme closes with vote of thanks.

The format of this programme is as follows -
• The Stakeholder Discussion will start with a quick opening round
where each panelist will introduce their topic of choice and give a
brief idea on the issue and its impact on women with vision
impairment. In this round, each panelist will be given about two
minutes to state their case.
• An audience poll will be taken to identify the top two issues that
the audience feel are most momentous.
• The selected topics will be then discussed in detail by the
panelists to achieve a greater understanding of the issue, its impact
and its implications.
As mentioned earlier, all are welcome to attend this event. Please
