Ihope I am posting in the correct place, as I am pretty new here. I am trying to install the Zibo Mod B737-800X into XPlane 12 on MacOS from this site: -plane.to/file/309/zibo-mod-b737-800x. I have followed multiple guides/instructions, so I am pretty sure I have done everything correctly. However, when the aircraft loads (which also appears to take a long time - I have had to force quit XPlane on a couple of occasions due to the application not responding), I get a sound bank error, the tablet shows 'missing or unsupported file' and the instrument panel has some errors on it (see the attached screenshots).

I'm getting the exact same problem as Mikeyh182 above, and I'm on a Windows 10 system. The same (semi-downed) cockpit/pad indications and lights, warnings and the same 'Be Advised' warnings pop up. Looks like the cockpit is on ground power with nothing spun-up or initialised on the DUs.

I can confirm that I am using the latest version of XP12. I did follow both the install guide and the macOS supplement previously (installing both the base files and the latest fix), but I have just removed the Zibo Mod files and attempted a fresh install again from scratch by carefully going through both guides for a second time, but still no luck.

Anyway, it looks like there's specific MacOS issue which is already solved by some other simmers, in the Mac security area using the MacOS terminal, please read carefully the MacOS user guide part provided by @skymatix , together with performing a search on the ZiboMod forums around "Mac terminal"

I had the same problem yesterday. I posted my issue on the Zibo forum for X-plane 11 not realizing there was one for the X-Plane 12 platform. At any rate, as enjxp posted above "ensure XP12 is updated to current 12.04b2" which is the updated X-Plane 12 in beta version. That did the trick for me and it started to work properly. Double check what version you have installed on your PC. If it's the lastest version of X-Plane 12, try updating it to the beta version. Hope this works for you as it did for me.

This worked for me (after 3 days of trying to figure the problem out). Yes, the solution was changing to XPlane V 12.04b2 from the non-beta version. The Zibo Mod 737 cockpit sprang to life on loading! (though I'd loaded the Skyhawk first, just in case). Everything was operational and clickable including the overhead. First flight on the Zibo was a success. A million thanks!

I have updated my version of XPlane to the beta version and now the Zibo will not load at all...it causes XPlane to just hang upon loading, so I end up having to force close everything. So, it looks like upgrading to beta has actually made the issue worse ?

I have already been through the MacOS guide and followed all the Terminal steps, but this has not helped either. But, I will continue to have a search on the ZiboMod forums to see if I can find a solution. I will post back with an update when I make some progress.

Sorry this information was not able to solve your issue. I don't use a Mac PC so I don't know where to begin. The only advice I can give you is to just walk away from it, take a deep breath and come back to it. We've all been in the same predicament at some point or another with X-Plane and the Zibo mod. I hope you find the solution soon. Keep us posted.

I managed to solve the issue, which does look like it is a Mac problem. Also, there could be a chance that the MacOS install guide needs updating, as in my experience, the steps are no longer correct for the latest version of MacOS.

I followed the MacOS Install Supplement guide very carefully a number of times - trying both the direct update and the Terminal 'ditto' command - and neither of these worked. So, what I ended up doing was going through each folder in the latest patch and moving them individually into the full release folder and choosing 'override' (not 'merge' as the guide recommends) and this worked perfectly. I had to do this a number of times - firstly, I tried moving over entire folders but despite choosing 'override', it did not work. So, I ended up having to do each file one-by-one, which then worked. So, it appears to be an issue with the way MacOS handles the override process when dropping in the update patch files.

I have a brand new MacBook Pro M2, so I wonder if the process is different for the latest Mac machines. I don't know if it is related, but a couple of weeks ago, there was an update to Google Drive for Mac whereby when you move files between standard folders on your Mac HDD and folders within the Google Drive folder itself on the Mac, they are now handled differently (the system now moves files rather than make a copy of them, which they have always done in the past by default). As this update was related to the movement of files between folders, I just wonder if there has been an update to MacOS over recent weeks which means the instructions in the Zibo guide no longer work.

But, anyways...the good news is it worked. So, hopefully, this will prove useful to anyone else having the same Mac issue as I have had. Thanks again to you all for your time on this, which has been greatly appreciated ?

If you moved files in blocks within folders then the replace option will work. Merge is for folders. I have tested the Mac Supplement (I am the current author) on Ventura 13.2.1 - the latest MacOS. I'd be very surprised if there's any difference between Intel and M1/2. I'm on Intel so can't test on M1/2.

I can also confirm that the instructions in the guide for the Finder method still work with XP 12.04b2 and Zibo EA3.8 - again latest versions. If you could video or show screenshots of the guide methods not working, I'll happily take a look at possible amendments.

Hello, I'm having a very similar issue on my PC. My 737 zibo was perfectly fine up until update 3.7. I keep getting that "One or more issues were found with this sound bank" error message. So I had to downgrade back to ver 3.6 and then everything works as it should. I do have the latest ver. of Xplane 12. Not sure how I can go about fixing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, I currently have X-Plane 12 ver 12.04r3. This is supposed to be the latest final ver. What I don't understand is why do I need to go back to a beta version from a final version to upgrade the Zibo from 3.6 onward?
