Warm greetings from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences!

 

We are delighted to write to you that our University has truly grown up to a stature to prove itself to be one among the elite academic institutions in the country. Consistent with its mission to serve humanity through education and committed to its pledge to evolve extraordinary leaders who would serve the society with integrity, Karunya University has been spearheading efforts to create path-breaking records in the domains of  Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities.

Recently, the Government of India has launched a digital system to rank the Universities in the country viz., National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). A significant factor in this ranking is your ‘perception’ category that carries a greater weightage. The assessment criteria is about your evaluation/perception of Karunya as a top class institution.

 

For this purpose, we request you, as a highly respected stakeholder, to register for the ‘Perception Survey’ on the NIRF portal. You may kindly proceed as described below (a 2-minute process):

 

1.   Go to the URL, https://www.nirfindia.org/perception and register with a valid e-mail id

2.   You will receive a link from NIRF (nir...@nirfindia.org) to your email id

3.   Open the link sent “Click here”

4. The first tab is PERSONAL INFORMATION in which the following information need to be filled.

 

a)      Name

b)      State

c)      City

d)     Subject Area

e)      Email ID (will appear automatically-based on your registration)

f)       Mobile Number (Optional)

 

5.   Below this, there is a heading named as INTEREST. Here you need to make a selection among the following

 

a)      Student

b)      Parent/Guardian

c)      Faculty Member

d)     Alumni

e)      Academic Administrator

f)       NGO

g)      Funding Agency

h)      Social Worker

i)        HR- Head

j)        Other

6.   After providing your input, you need to fill the next heading PERCENTAGE OF YOUR TIME based on your job responsibility. Click NEXT and move to the second tab TOP UNIVERSITIES NATIONALLY.

7.   The second tab is TOP UNIVERSITIES NATIONALLY. Here, in the OVERALL section, select Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Coimbatore) from the drop-down menu.

8.   Submit your choice for the Engineering and Management domains also. Click the “Please select domain” button below the overall section. Select ENGINEERING from the list of domains and then select Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences  (Coimbatore) from the drop-down menu.

9.    Then Click the “Please select domain” button below ENGINEERING section. Select MANAGEMENT and then select Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences  (Coimbatore) from the drop-down menu.

10. Click NEXT and move to the third tab TOP UNIVERSITIES REGIONALLY.

11. The third tab is TOP UNIVERSITIES REGIONALLY.  Select the region “South” and submit your choice for Engineering and Management domains as done earlier.

12. Click  NEXT and complete the process by clicking SAVE AND SUBMIT button in the fourth tab

 

The whole process will take around 2 minutes only. We would highly appreciate, if you could kindly complete the above survey before the last date stipulated by NIRF i.e. on 15^th February 2017.
