I've had this problem since I started playing a few weeks ago. It's infuriating as I can't add any friends. I even made an origin account thinking that may be the problem, but no joy. And as I don't have any origin friends I still can't visit anyone to clear friends quests I have
Assuming we're all talking iOS here, what I did to solve this problem was to go into Settings (iOS Settings) > Facebook, then disable Tapped Out's access permissions, then re-enable it. This should then trigger Tapped Out to ask for access to Facebook next time you start it and try to log into facebook to connect friends.
Nope Kindle fire user here. I don't know if it's specific to what u use, facebook itself claims I don't use this app and I cannot get into the app page properly. I might have to try and do this on a pc. I never had any trouble with family guy, it's strange.
Its an easy fix. open facebook on your computer, go to the apps tab on the left. on the new page open up 'my apps' and scroll down till you find the simpsons. now delete it. go back to what ever device you use to play tapped out and reconnect to facebook. this will update its permissions and allow you to reconnect to your facebook friends. obviously only do this if you have your account linked with origin or you may loose your progress. you'll need to do this every time the app does a major update, aka after this latest christmas update
