Location: Cary, NC

Client: Verizon

Duration: Long term

Any Visa is accepted

 

Environments and Scope of Work:

 

1.      IT and Network Architect responsible for Verizon's Managed Services architecture:

2.      Service Assurance (ITSM) Systems and Architectures

3.      Security Systems and Architectures

4.      Data Center Architectures

5.      Network Architectures

6.      OSS and Foundational  Architectures.

 

Design and Tactical Implementations:

1.       Managed Services Products, Deployments and Customer Solutions

2.       Architecture Road Map and Capacity Planning

3.       Vendor Evaluations

 

 Required:

1.       System and Network Management Systems and Architecture (ITSM)

2.       Network and Systems Management Protocols: 5 + years (snmp, Netconf, Netflow, etc…)

3.       Visio Designer Tool Experience

4.       Network Architectures and Routing (ie.. V6, SDN, SDWAN, MPLS, etc.)

 

Desired:

Able to get cleared for Federal access.

Standards: (NIST, FEDRAMP, CNSSI 1253, PCI, SOC ),

Systems: (IDS, SDP, IDP, CDN).

1.       Virtual Data Center (vCenter) and Cloud Design / Operating Environments (AWS, Azure,

2.       etc.)

3.       Familiarity with System and Network Foundational Architectures (DNS, DHCP, NTP, Authentication

4.       Systems,…)

5.       Familiarity with SDN, SDWAN, VNS and Network Orchestration Environments

6.       Experience with Configuration and Support of the following Major Vendors

7.       Cisco Systems including ACI, DNA, ENCS, MSX

8.       Juniper Systems

9.       Web System and Delivery Architectures

10.   Network and System Management Platforms:

11.   EMC Smarts

12.   Sevone

13.   AMP (Aruba)

14.   Assureone

15.   Tripwire
